1000 Frenchies - Purchase Contract

 

Thank you for choosing a dog/pup,                              , from Irene and Chris at 1000 Frenchies and www.1000Frenchies.com. For purpose of this Contract, we are Breeder and you are Buyer. We take pride in every pup that leaves our care and becomes a part of your family. For the purpose of this contract, Pup is every dog that was born of our Dams and Sires, regardless of age. Your new dog was born on                                  and is / not UNDER one year of age.
 
ALL OF OUR PUPS ARE AKC REGISTERABLE. ALL DAMS AND SIRES ARE REGISTERED THROUGH THE AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB (AKC)

We the breeder, 1000 Frenchies, believe your pup is in good health at the time of pick up. We do not guarantee him/her for breeding or showing (unless otherwise stated). 

 

Buyer is requested to meet Breeder at Newberg Veterinary Hospital at time of pickup where pup will undergo a health exam. Buyer is to schedule all services on their account in order to take custody of puppy. Buyer may opt to meet at an alternate vet within 5 miles from 97123 zip code. Buyer may also forego the health exam and sign below to acknowledge this contract is void without veterinary health exam at time of pickup. If pup is being shipped, a vet exam will be performed and a copy will be sent to buyer prior to shipping. A .pdf copy of the vet exam must be emailed to info@1000frenchies.com within 7 days from purchase date of pup. If exam copy is not received within seven days, the guarantee is void.
 
Your pup has had at least one TruCan DAPPI (Duramune Max 5) puppy shot. Shot and deworming record is included with every pup. Rabies shot is not provided, buyer is to make this decision upon taking custody of pup.
 
We give a ONE year guarantee, from birth, against life threatening Congenital or Hereditary defects that are limited to: heart, lung or liver. If one of these defects is found within one year, the puppy, their AKC registration papers and a detailed statement from your vet of the nature of the defect must be returned to Irene and Chris to be reviewed by their vet before a replacement pup of equal value can be given. Pups over the age of 1 year sold by Breeder do not qualify for our warranty. 
 
Buyer understands that replacement option is only valid when symptoms are attributed to a hereditary or congenital problem and not due to an accident or contagion, breeder/buyer's choice of Natural Birth and/or other illness. We do NOT recommend nor guarantee natural birth for any whelping of any French Bulldog litters. 
In the case pup is not provided to buyer for any reason during weening period, such as loss of life or serious issue, deposit may be refunded.
 
***In any case we are to provide a replacement pup we reserve the right to have 1 year to do so. In the event there is a defect covered under this contract and you choose not to return the pup (if still alive), his/her AKC registration or provide a statement from your vet, this contract will be void and Breeder will not be responsible for providing a replacement pup. Any/all vet and shipping costs after pup leaves 1000 Frenchies are the responsibility of the Buyer.***
 
Buyer understands that the following defects are not covered under this contract (this list is not exhaustive): Hernias, undescended testicles, hearing or visual impairments, cherry eye, kidney/bladder infection, under/overbite, baby teeth sometimes are retained but can be removed when pup is spayed/neutered, stenotic nares (closed nostrils) or luxating patella. Untrained puppies may eat fecal matter in yards and parks which may make puppy have loose stool or worse. This guarantee does not cover parasites, loose stool, Coccidia, Giardia, Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), Kennel Cough or any condition that can be corrected by veterinarian treatment. We cannot guarantee the color of eyes, adult weight or personality of any pup. It is best to keep pups away from other pups, pet stores, city streets, parks and playgrounds, etc., until pups are 16 weeks of age and have had their full complement of puppy vaccinations (min of 3).

Buyer acknowledges Pup is a brachycephalic canine which requires awareness to possible breathing difficulties such as: heavy breathing, mouth breathing, snorting, difficulty exercising in hot weather and can contribute to gagging or vomiting after eating or drinking too fast. Buyer is responsible to discuss with their vet any surgical procedures necessary to widen nostrils or correct Brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome “BOAS” at their own expense. 


If the dog is purchased with breeding rights, the following will be covered: undescended testicles. This male should be removed from the breeding program and neutered. With provided documentation of this, 1000 Frenchies will refund breeding rights fee. This is to be emailed to info@1000frenchies.com within one year of age. Dams are not guaranteed in event of complications during breeding/whelping.

Breeding rights are given for an additional charge of $2,000.00 for males and $3,000.00 for females, and will guarantee breeding quality at 1 year of age for males and females. Dams must reach 17 lbs and weight must be taken by a vet with proof of weight from vet given to Chris and Irene on that vet's stationary. DNA results do not guarantee specific litter variations.

Buyer acknowledges and agrees, if puppy is not purchased for breeding, proof of spay/neutering is required within 9 months from Birth/Whelping Date or 90 days of custody. This is to be paid by applicant to a licensed veterinarian.

For purposes of this contract the puppy is sold in the state of Oregon. A non-refundable deposit of $200.00 is required to hold a puppy prior to meeting. Electronic payment is accepted for Deposit Only, without fee. If Electronic Payment is used for remaining balance, fee applies (see below).
 
Shipping cost will include: airfare, flight insurance, health certificate, kennel and rabies shot (if needed). Final Shipping cost are to be provided prior to shipping and paid in full prior to shipping.


At no time are you allowed to resell or give said dog to the Humane Society or any kind of dog rescue. We will take the pup and place him/her for you. No refund or payment is to be made by 1000Frenchies for the voluntary surrender of pup. Travel expense is to be paid by Buyer.


If you live in an apartment or rent a home, please ensure that you have permission to keep a dog. A yard or leashed walks are required for Puppy's health.

Payment Policy
A deposit of $200.00 is required to hold a puppy.
This will apply to your final price.
If you change your mind for any reason, the deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE.

We accept the following forms of payment for Final Payment:

- Credit Card (+3.5% Fee, All except AMEX, to be Paid in Cash at Pickup)
- AMEX (4% Fee to be Paid in Cash at Pickup)
- PAYPAL (+3.7% Fee to be Paid in Cash at Pickup)
- PAYPAL Pay Later  nd Affirm (+6% Fee to be Paid in Cash at Pickup)
- Tap to Pay (+3% Fee to be Paid in Cash at Pickup)

______I understand I am purchasing a French Bulldog and am aware they are brachycephalic and cannot tolerate heat well. I will take care to monitor and keep my pup in a temperature controlled environment where it is safe and healthy.

 

______I understand and accept full financial responsibility for veterinarian care once this puppy is in my care.

 

______I understand the limits of the one-year warranty and requirements to send a vet exam for puppy within 20 days from pick-up date to info@1000frenchies.com to warranty my pet. I will provide loving care to my pet and provide careful instruction and training to my frenchie.
